Everybody likes to eat tasty foods on festive and other times. Here, in this article, learn how to prepare a butter chicken easily. Follow the steps provided for cooking and enjoy eating butter chicken.
1. Boneless chicken - 1 kg
2. Lime juice - 2 table spoon
3. Red Chilli powder - 1 table spoon
4. Cloves - 6 nos
5. Peppercorns - 8 to10
6. Almonds - 8 to 10
7. Cinnamon - 2 no
8. Cardamom - 5 no
9. Fresh yoghurt - 1 cup
10. Sunflower oil - 3 table spoon
11. Onions chopped - 2 no
12. Garlic paste - 2 table spoon
13. Ginger paste - 1 table spoon
14. Coriander powder - 2 table spoon
15. Cumin powder - 1 table spoon
16.Turmeric powder - 1/4 table spoon
17. Chopped tomatoes - 1/2 Kg
18. Chicken stock - 1/2 litre
19. Kasuri methi - 2 table spoon
20. Butter - 3 table spoon
21. Coriander leaves (garnish) - few
22. Bay leaves - 2 nos
23. Salt - Required amount
2. Then marinate it over the boneless chicken and cover it for atleast one hour.
3. Heat a pan and add ingredients such as cloves, peppercorns, cinnamon, bay leaves and almonds. Roast them to become a slight dark.
4. Now allow the roasted to cool for some time and then add the cardamom seeds.
5. You should grind now it into powder.
6. Mix the yoghurt along with the grind ingredients, coriander, cumin and turmeric powders together and add them to the chicken.
7. Stir well and keep it for some time.
8. Now fry onion in a separate pan and stop when its colour changes to brown.
9. Now add ginger and garlic and broil it add the chicken-spice mix and fry it till it being sealed.
10. Just add the tomato paste, chicken stock, kasuri methi and remaining part of the yogurt-spice mix to the chicken, cook well.
11. You should wait for some time still the gravy is reduced to 1/4th its original volume.
12. Heat another pan and melt the butter there.
13. Then pour it over the chicken. Now it can be garnished by spreading some coriander leaf above it. That's all. The butter Chicken is ready to serve.
